1. General

These terms and conditions apply to purchases of goods on mycopenhagenkid.com.

mycopenhagenkid.com makes reservations for sold-out items, longer delivery times, price changes and any errors on the website.

2. Order and payment

mycopenhagenkid.com is open 24 hours a day, so you can almost always shop in our webshop. However, it may happen that we close the shop due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the shop is open and available.

To shop at mycopenhagenkid.com you must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid payment card that we accept. If you are not yet 18 years of age, you can still purchase goods if you have obtained your guardian's consent or otherwise have the legal right to make the purchase.

You select the items you want to buy and put them in the “Shopping Cart”. You can edit the contents of the shopping cart right up until the time of ordering, and you can continuously see the contents and price of the items here.

At mycopenhagenkid.com it is possible to pay in the following ways:

  • Dankort
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • MobilePay

All prices on mycopenhagenkid.com are stated in Danish kroner and include VAT. See information about prices and delivery times under Shipping .

When you are ready to order, click on “Shopping cart” and “check out”, where you enter your name, address, email, phone number and payment method. You can change the contents of the shopping cart until you confirm your purchase under “Payment method”. After that, your order will be forwarded to mycopenhagenkid.com.

The amount for the goods will only be debited from your account when the goods are shipped.

3. Order and order confirmation

When you have ordered an item from us, you will receive a receipt for our receipt of your order. The order is completed when you have received an order confirmation from us. We recommend that you save both confirmations.

4. Campaigns

We sometimes run promotions such as Black Friday on mycopenhagenkid.com. As these promotions typically bring extra busy times, you can expect longer delivery times for your order during promotional periods. We apologize and are working hard to get your items out as quickly as possible.

5. Freight

my copenhagen kid collaborates with the logistics company Parcelfeeder. This company is responsible for inventory, packaging, shipping, returns, etc. of the goods purchased from mycopenhagenkid.com.

The logistics company uses GLS, PostNord, Bring, DAO and Burd parcel service as delivery partners and all parties have a strong focus on fast delivery. Delivery of goods is generally expected to take place within a few days of ordering the item at mycopenhagenkid.com, provided the item is in stock.

Read more under Shipping at the bottom of this page.

Customers in Norway will unfortunately be charged VAT and customs duties.

6. 365 days right of withdrawal

At my copenhagen kid we offer the whole 365- day full return policy.

The right of withdrawal is conditional on the item being returned so that it can be resold as a new item. Please note that we have strict requirements for returning items, especially children's bedding and clothing.

If the item shows signs of having been unpacked in a room with cigarette smoke or pets, etc., we consider the item to be used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only receive a small portion or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.

We consider used goods to be of no commercial value if they have been tested more than is possible in a physical store, which is why the deterioration will therefore be assessed at 99.99%.

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, properties and appearance of the goods. In other words - you can assess the goods in the same way as is possible in a physical store.

7. Returns

If you want to return the item, we recommend that you read this page about Returns .

We typically refund the money within 8 days. When returning the goods, you should make sure that the goods are properly packaged. You are responsible for the package/goods until we receive them. We recommend that you save your postal receipt and any track and trace number.

You cannot cancel your purchase by simply refusing to accept the goods without clearly informing us. You must pay the costs of returning the goods when you cancel in this way. We will calculate the amount based on the applicable GLS rates and deduct it from your total amount.

The goods must be returned to:

my copenhagen kid, C/o Parcelfeeder
Dinner 29
2605 Brondby
Denmark

We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery.

If the shipping costs more than the shipping you purchased through our returns portal, we will deduct the extra shipping from the amount we refund.

Return of bedside crib

If you wish to return a bedside crib, you may unpack it, but it must not have been assembled. The screws leave marks so that the bed no longer looks like new, so unfortunately we will not take it back if you have first assembled it.

8. Partial undoing

When you cancel your entire order, we will refund the full amount of any shipping costs. If you only partially return your order, we will not refund the original shipping costs.

9. Refund

When we receive the item, we will check its condition and you will be refunded the amount you paid to us upon purchase if the item is returned in the expected condition. See more above under “365-day right of withdrawal”.

In the case of agreed-upon discounts, returned goods or prepaid goods that are cancelled before shipment, a full or partial refund of the purchase price must be made.

Refunds are always made to the same account that was used to pay for the order. You will receive an email when we refund the amount.

10. Complaints - if there is something wrong with the product

Your purchase is covered by the Danish Sales Act, including the defect rules. This means that you can either have a defective item repaired, exchanged, your money refunded or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.

It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior. We recommend that you file a complaint as soon as possible and within 2 months of the defect being discovered.

You can complain by contacting us via email at info@mycopenhagenkid.com .

Depending on the specific situation, we will send you further instructions.

11. Gift cards

Gift cards for the webshop are valid for three years from the date of issue.

12. VAT refund

Please note that we cannot refund VAT for customers abroad (including the Faroe Islands and Greenland) as this is a very time-consuming and manual process.
