The material

The hat is produced in the EU from the organic and sustainable material Tencel™. Tencel™ is a common name for fabric made from wood fibers.

The production of the fabric takes place by dissolving the wood pulp into a kind of pulp. It is then made into very thin fibers, which are eventually spun into yarn and woven into fabric.
