6 reusable nursing pads from Danish momkind.

The teardrop-shaped nursing pads from momkind follow the contours of the breast and sit discreetly and comfortably in the nursing bra. The nursing pads are highly absorbent and have edges with soft seams that protect against leakage.

The lightly woven polyester quickly wicks moisture away from the chest, while the antibacterial properties of bamboo reduce the amount of bacteria that can lead to fungus.

An outer layer of the waterproof material Polyurethane Laminate (PUL), which is also found in modern cloth diapers, protects you from wet stains on the shirt.

The size

Momkind's reusable nursing pads measure 14 cm at the longest joint and 12 cm at the second joint. You get 3 pairs in a package - so 6 nursing pads in total.

How to use the nursing pad

Place the nursing pad in your nursing bra or nursing top with the narrow end facing up. Change as needed when it feels full and wash in the included laundry bag.

There is no single answer to how often you should change nursing pads, as milk production varies from mother to mother. Furthermore, your personal milk production will fluctuate depending on where you are in your breastfeeding journey.

These reusable nursing pads with good absorbency will give you a longer feeling of dryness than thin disposable nursing pads, but you still need to be careful about changing them so that your breasts stay dry throughout the day.

If you have a heavy flow, it may be an advantage – albeit for a period of time – to supplement with disposable nursing pads, just as in the winter months you can choose to use reusable wool nursing pads on top of momkind nursing pads to prevent mastitis.

It is a good idea to air dry your breasts after breastfeeding when possible, but you can also use nursing pads from momkind together with Lanolin ointment . Lanolin ointment on nursing pads comes off in the wash.
