What is kapok?

Kapok is a 100% organic, hypoallergenic and soft natural material that grows on the tropical and majestic Kapok tree.

Kapok is a fiber that consists of small, waxy hollow tubes with air trapped inside. The hollow tubes make the mattress breathable, insensitive to moisture, it regulates its temperature, and the fibers contain a bitter substance that protects against pests and bacteria. What's not to like?
