How it works

The Babybay bedside crib is attached to your own adult bed, so that the adult bed and baby bed become one. This means you can lie very close to your baby without rolling over into him or her.

Newborns usually wake up many times during the night and here you have a clear view of the baby and can lie down and hold it in your hand, check if the baby is awake or easily push the pacifier back into the mouth without having to get up or even barely open your eyes. And it's worth its weight in gold, not having to get up 100 times in one night!

Crib, cradle or Babybay?

During my first pregnancy, I had a crib next to our own bed for Sylvester to sleep in. As if. Every time I tried to move him into it after breastfeeding, he woke up and instead ended up lying awkwardly on top of me all night because I couldn't bear to move him, so he woke up.

Although it was nice to have the body contact, it made us both sleep really badly. With a bedside crib I could easily move my little baby back into the cot without her waking up. And it was simply so nice to have her close to me all night, but without us being glued to each other.

How to assemble Babybay Maxi

The baby bed is connected to the parent bed using two brackets, which ensure that there are no gaps between the beds and it can be adjusted in height to fit almost all adult beds up to 53 cm.

Please check that the brackets can be used to mount the bedside crib on your bed and that you do not need a mounting kit with straps instead.
